Terms of Service for Replay Sports App

By accessing or using Replay Sports App ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Replay Sports App ("we," "us," or "our").

Age Requirements

• Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for monitoring minors' use of the App.

Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Account Types

The App supports three user roles:

• Coach: Team management, video upload, event creation, workout assignment.
• Player: View training videos, participate in teams, complete workouts.
• Parent: Monitor child's progress, receive updates, communicate with coaches.

Account Security

• Keep your password confidential.
• Do not share your account with others.
• Use a strong, unique password.

You Agree To:

• Use the App for lawful purposes only.
• Respect other users' privacy and rights.
• Provide accurate information.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Be respectful in communications and content.

You Agree NOT To:

• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content.
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
• Attempt to hack, breach security, or disrupt the App.
• Spam, advertise, or solicit other users.
• Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code.
• Scrape, data mine, or use automated tools.
• Violate intellectual property rights.
• Share explicit, violent, or discriminatory content.
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission.

Your Content

• You retain ownership of videos, notes, and content you upload.
• By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable (solely to our service providers) license to store, process, transmit, and display your content for the purpose of operating and providing the App's services.
• You grant team members permission to view your shared content.
• You represent that you own or have rights to all content you upload.
• This license terminates when you delete your content or account, except for anonymized copies retained in team features or backups as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our Content

• The App, its design, features, and functionality are owned by us.
• Our trademarks, logos, and branding are protected.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property.

Content Restrictions

You may not upload content that:

• Violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
• Contains personal information of others without consent.
• Is defamatory, obscene, or offensive.
• Violates privacy or publicity rights.
• Contains nudity or sexually explicit material.
• Depicts violence or illegal activities.
• Promotes discrimination, hate speech, or harassment.

DMCA / Copyright Complaints

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on the App infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent with the following information:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• A description of where the infringing material is located in the App.
• Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-Notification: If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may submit a counter-notification with your contact information, a description of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district. We will forward your counter-notification to the original complainant and restore your content within 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

Video Uploads

• You are responsible for the content you upload.
• Videos must be related to sports training and team activities.
• We reserve the right to remove inappropriate videos.
• Video storage is subject to reasonable file size limits.

Video Ownership

• Teams and coaches own videos they create.
• Players featured in videos have privacy rights.
• Parents must consent to videos featuring minors.
• Videos may be deleted if they violate these Terms.

Content Access and Monitoring

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

• We Have Access: We and our service providers (Firebase, Mux) have technical access to all videos, messages, notes, and content you upload or create.
• Purpose of Access: We access content only when necessary for service operations, technical support, content moderation, safety enforcement, or legal compliance.
• No Routine Monitoring: We do not routinely watch your videos or read your messages.
• Manual Review: Content is reviewed manually when reported or when a violation is suspected.
• Content Removal: We may remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
• Account Action: Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Creating Teams

• Coaches can create and manage teams.
• Team creators are responsible for team conduct.
• Teams must be for legitimate sports/training purposes.

Team Invitations

• Users can only invite others with their consent.
• Spamming invitations is prohibited.
• Users can leave teams at any time.

Team Content

• Team members can view shared videos, schedules, and messages.
• Leaving a team does not delete your contributed content.
• Coaches can remove members for violating team rules.

Messaging

• Messages must be respectful and appropriate.
• No spam, advertising, or solicitation.
• We may monitor messages to enforce these Terms.
• Threatening or harassing messages will result in account termination.

Privacy

Messages are private between participants. We do not routinely read or monitor messages.

We may access messages when necessary for:

• Investigating reported violations.
• Responding to legal requests or court orders.
• Providing technical support for issues you report.
• Preventing illegal activity or protecting user safety.

Deleted messages may remain in backups for up to 30 days.

Free Service

• Currently, the App is provided free of charge. If we introduce paid features:
• We will provide advance notice.
• Paid features will be clearly identified.
• You may cancel subscriptions at any time.
• Refunds will be governed by App Store/Google Play policies.

Future Pricing

• We reserve the right to introduce paid features.
• Existing free features may remain free or become paid.
• You will not be charged without your explicit consent.

Your Privacy

• We respect your privacy and protect your data.
• See our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and use.
• We will never sell your personal information.

Data Usage

• We use your data to provide and improve the App.
• Third-party services (Firebase, Mux) process your data.
• You can request data deletion by deleting your account.

Data Access by Platform Operators

You understand and agree that:

• Technical Access: We and our service providers (Firebase, Mux) have technical access to all content you create, upload, or share.
• Service Provision: This access is necessary to provide video hosting, messaging, storage, and other App features.
• Limited Use: We access your data only as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Third-Party Processing: Your data is processed by trusted third-party providers subject to their privacy policies.
• User Responsibility: You are responsible for the content you share and should not share sensitive information you do not want us to access.

By You

• You may delete your account at any time through the App.
• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
• Some data may remain in backups for up to 30 days.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Engage in illegal activities.
• Abuse or harass other users.
• Upload prohibited content.
• Attempt to compromise App security.
• Create multiple accounts after termination.

Effect of Termination

• You lose access to your account and content.
• Your videos may be deleted (unless shared with teams).
• Outstanding obligations survive termination.

"AS IS" Service

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• Videos may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance.

No Liability for Content

• We are not responsible for user-generated content.
• We do not endorse user opinions or content.
• We are not liable for disputes between users.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability is limited to $100 or the amount you paid (if any).
• We are not liable for lost data, profits, or business opportunities.
• We are not liable for third-party actions or content.

Exceptions: Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability. In those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from:

• Claims arising from your use of the App.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of others' rights.
• Content you upload or share.
• Your negligence or misconduct.

External Services

The App uses third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) for database and authentication.
• Mux for video hosting and streaming.
• Google OAuth for sign-in.

Third-Party Terms

• You must comply with third-party terms of service.
• We are not responsible for third-party service failures.
• Third-party privacy policies apply to their services.

External Links

• The App may contain links to external websites.
• We are not responsible for external content.
• Clicking external links is at your own risk.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Arbitration

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, not court litigation, except:

• Small claims court disputes.
• Intellectual property disputes.
• Requests for injunctive relief.

The arbitration will be conducted in the State of New York. Each party will bear its own arbitration costs, except as otherwise required by AAA rules or applicable law.

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.

Modifications

• We may update these Terms at any time.
• Material changes will be notified through the App.
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
• If you disagree with changes, stop using the App.

Notice

We will provide at least 30 days' notice for material changes.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.

Severability

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment

We may assign these Terms. You may not assign them without our consent.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures due to circumstances beyond our control.

How to Report

If you encounter violations of these Terms, report them:

What to Include

• Description of the violation.
• Username or team involved.
• Screenshots or evidence (if applicable).
