Terms of Service for Replay Sports App

By accessing or using Replay Sports App ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Replay Sports App ("we," "us," or "our").

Age Requirements

• Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for monitoring minors' use of the App.

Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Account Types

The App supports four user roles:

• Coach: Team management, video upload, event creation, workout assignment, live streaming of team games.
• Player: View training videos, participate in teams, complete workouts, optionally opt into recruiting.
• Parent: Monitor child's progress, receive updates, communicate with coaches, provide recruiting consent for minor athletes, and start personal streams of their own child's games (subscription required).
• Recruiter: Search opted-in athletes, save prospects with private notes, and express interest, after our verification (see Section 8).

Account Security

• Keep your password confidential.
• Do not share your account with others.
• Use a strong, unique password.

You Agree To:

• Use the App for lawful purposes only.
• Respect other users' privacy and rights.
• Provide accurate information.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Be respectful in communications and content.

You Agree NOT To:

• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content.
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
• Attempt to hack, breach security, or disrupt the App.
• Spam, advertise, or solicit other users.
• Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code.
• Scrape, data mine, or use automated tools.
• Violate intellectual property rights.
• Share explicit, violent, or discriminatory content.
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission.
• Film or stream games where filming is prohibited.

Your Content

• You retain ownership of videos, notes, and content you upload.
• By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable (solely to our service providers) license to store, process, transmit, and display your content for the purpose of operating and providing the App's services.
• You grant team members permission to view your shared content.
• You represent that you own or have rights to all content you upload.
• This license terminates when you delete your content or account, except for anonymized copies retained in team features or backups as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our Content

• The App, its design, features, and functionality are owned by us.
• Our trademarks, logos, and branding are protected.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property.

Content Restrictions

You may not upload content that:

• Violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
• Contains personal information of others without consent.
• Is defamatory, obscene, or offensive.
• Violates privacy or publicity rights.
• Contains nudity or sexually explicit material.
• Depicts violence or illegal activities.
• Promotes discrimination, hate speech, or harassment.

DMCA / Copyright Complaints

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on the App infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent with the following information:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• A description of where the infringing material is located in the App.
• Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-Notification: If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may submit a counter-notification with your contact information, a description of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district. We will forward your counter-notification to the original complainant and restore your content within 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

Repeat Infringers: We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe others' copyrights.

Video Uploads

• You are responsible for the content you upload.
• Videos must be related to sports training and team activities.
• We reserve the right to remove inappropriate videos.
• Video storage is subject to reasonable file size limits and to the monthly upload allowance of your plan (see Section 11).
• Videos older than 180 days may be moved to archival storage. Starred videos and Showcase videos are retained in high-quality streaming.

Video Ownership

• Teams and coaches own videos they create.
• Players featured in videos have privacy rights.
• Parents must consent to videos featuring minors.
• Videos may be deleted if they violate these Terms.

Live Game Streaming (GameDay)

• Who can stream: A team's head coach, or an adult the coach delegates, may film and live stream the team's games through the App. A parent with an active subscription may start a personal stream of their own child's game from their own account. Players and minors may not stream from their own accounts.
• What a stream is: Live video and audio of a youth sports game in a public place, uploaded in short segments to our video infrastructure and played back through a link. Streams are delayed approximately one minute behind the field, and audio is not filtered.
• Links and PINs: Viewers do not need an account. Team streams are viewable by anyone with the game's unguessable share link, and the coach may require a 4-digit PIN. Personal streams are PIN-protected by default; the parent may share the link and PIN. Viewers can forward a link, and a PIN reduces but does not eliminate that. You are responsible for who you share links and PINs with.
• Permissions: You are responsible for having any permission your league, school, or venue requires to film and stream a game, for not streaming where filming is prohibited, and for stopping a stream when asked. Parents must consent to footage featuring minors. Anyone who appears in a stream, or their parent or guardian, may ask us to remove it at support@replaysportsapp.com.
• Retention: Team-game streams are kept for 60 days after the game ends and personal streams for 14 days. About two days before deletion, the account that started the stream is notified by push notification and in-app notice and may extend the stream once, by 7 more days. After that the video is permanently deleted from our servers, and any stream file older than 90 days is deleted regardless.
• Clips trimmed from game footage may be saved to individual video libraries before deletion; saved clips are hosted and processed like other videos (Mux) and follow the video terms above.
• Storage: Video segments are stored on Cloudflare R2 and served through Cloudflare's network; recordings may also be processed by Mux for replays. See our Privacy Policy for details.
• Usage limits: Live streaming hours are limited each month: currently up to 10 hours per head coach across all of that coach's teams (2 hours for a team that no player or parent has joined yet) and 10 hours per parent account. Limits may change, and streams beyond a limit may be unavailable until the limit resets.
• Availability: We may limit, suspend, or disable live streaming at any time, and streams may be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable (see Section 14).

Content Access and Monitoring

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

• We Have Access: We and our service providers (Firebase, Mux, Cloudflare) have technical access to all videos, messages, notes, and content you upload, stream, or create.
• Purpose of Access: We access content only when necessary for service operations, technical support, content moderation, safety enforcement, or legal compliance.
• No Routine Monitoring: We do not routinely watch your videos or read your messages.
• Review: Messages and video notes pass a simple automatic filter that blocks obvious abuse and spam. Beyond that, content is reviewed manually when reported or when a violation is suspected.
• Content Removal: We may remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
• Account Action: Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Public Showcases

• Users may create public Showcase pages for athletes using the App.
• Publishing a Showcase makes it accessible to anyone with the share link.
• You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and permissions for all content published in a Showcase.
• Parents or guardians may create and manage Showcases for children they are authorized to represent.

AI-Generated Content

• Replay Sports may offer AI-generated trading card images and bio polishing through Google Gemini API.
• You retain ownership of the original photos and text you provide.
• You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before publishing it in a Showcase.

Showcase Analytics

• We collect anonymous Showcase visitor analytics, including approximate location, referrer hostname, browser type, and section interaction data.
• We do not store visitor IP addresses.
• Raw Showcase visitor analytics are deleted after 90 days, while aggregated summaries may be retained longer.
• Showcase owners can view aggregated analytics related to their own published Showcases.

Revoking Access

• Unpublishing a Showcase immediately invalidates all existing share links.
• Republishing a Showcase generates a new unique link, and previously issued links permanently stop working.

Recruiting Features

• Athletes may opt into the recruiting pool at any time and may opt out at any time in Settings.
• Players aged 13–17 require parental consent before opting in. Parental consent is recorded as an audit trail and revocable by the parent at any time.
• When an athlete opts in, the recruiting profile fields listed in our Privacy Policy ("Athlete Recruiting Profile") become searchable by verified recruiters.
• Coach-tracked achievements are logged by the athlete's coach. The athlete chooses which to display on their public Showcase.

Recruiter Accounts

• Recruiter accounts require verification of organization affiliation, role, and (optionally) LinkedIn identity, reviewed by our team. We may reject or revoke verification for fraudulent or unverifiable applications.
• Once a recruiter is verified, their organization can be changed only by contacting support.
• Recruiters agree to use the platform solely for legitimate athletic recruitment purposes.
• Recruiters agree not to contact athletes for non-recruiting purposes, harass athletes or their families, or share athlete data with third parties.
• Replay Sports does not perform background checks on recruiters and does not verify the accuracy of recruiter-provided information beyond institutional affiliation. Athletes and parents are responsible for evaluating recruiter outreach.
• Saved athletes, folders, notes, and outreach history stored on a recruiter account are not visible to athletes.

Creating Teams

• Coaches can create and manage teams.
• Team creators are responsible for team conduct.
• Teams must be for legitimate sports/training purposes.

Team Invitations

• Users can only invite others with their consent.
• Spamming invitations is prohibited.
• Users can leave teams at any time.

Team Content

• Team members can view shared videos, schedules, and messages.
• Team logos and colors uploaded by a coach are displayed to team members and to viewers of the team's game streams; the coach is responsible for having rights to any logo they upload.
• Leaving a team does not delete your contributed content.
• Coaches can remove members for violating team rules.

Opponent Team Linking

• Coaches may send or accept link invitations that connect two teams' records of the same game.
• By accepting a link invitation, a coach shares their team's player roster names with the opposing team's game record.
• Game stat data (box scores, play-by-play, pitch counts) for linked games is associated with player profiles and visible to both linked teams.
• A coach may also list opposing players by the name and jersey number they type into an opponent lineup; those entries appear on the game page and box score to anyone with the game link.

Messaging

• Messages must be respectful and appropriate.
• No spam, advertising, or solicitation.
• We may monitor messages to enforce these Terms.
• Threatening or harassing messages will result in account termination.

Privacy

Messages are private between participants. We do not routinely read or monitor messages.

We may access messages when necessary for:

• Investigating reported violations.
• Responding to legal requests or court orders.
• Providing technical support for issues you report.
• Preventing illegal activity or protecting user safety.

Deleted messages may remain in backups for up to 30 days.

Free Trial

• New players and parents receive a 14-day free trial.
• Recruiter accounts include a 14-day free trial of the Recruiter Monthly subscription, which starts when the recruiter account is verified.
• Coaches have free access. Team live game streaming is included for coaches, subject to the monthly hour limits in Section 6 (Live Game Streaming).
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Subscription Plans

• In the App: Player Monthly, Parent 1 Child Monthly, Parent Multiple Children Monthly (up to 4 linked athletes), and Recruiter Monthly. Current pricing is shown on the subscription screen in the App.
• On our website: team and facility plans, billed monthly, which cover the athletes on the plan. Current pricing is shown on our pricing page.
• Each parent account may link a maximum of 4 athletes regardless of plan type.
• After a trial ends, a paid subscription is required for premium features, including video uploads, the training library, workouts, team collaboration tools, and (for recruiters) athlete search and outreach.
• Personal live streaming of your own child's game requires an active parent subscription and is limited to 10 hours per parent account per month.

Upload Allowances

• Video uploads are limited each month by plan: currently 1 hour of uploaded video per month on Player Monthly and Parent 1 Child Monthly, 90 minutes on Parent Multiple Children Monthly, 30 minutes on Recruiter Monthly, 30 minutes in total during a free trial, and 1 hour for coaches without a team plan.
• Team and facility plans include a monthly upload allowance shared by everyone on the plan, shown when you choose the plan.
• Allowances reset at the start of each month and may change. Uploads beyond an allowance are unavailable until it resets or the plan changes. Live streaming hours are counted separately.

Payment and Billing

• In-app subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase.
• In-app subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, and your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period at the same rate.
• Team and facility plans bought on our website are charged by Stripe to the card you enter at checkout and renew each month until canceled.
• Apple and Stripe process these payments. We do not collect or store your card or bank details.

Cancellation and Refunds

• In-app subscriptions: manage or cancel in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy.
• Team and facility plans: the plan owner can update the card, see invoices, or cancel in the Stripe billing portal, linked from the plan confirmation email and from the App. A canceled plan stays active until the end of the month already paid. For refund requests, contact support@replaysportsapp.com.

Your Privacy

• We respect your privacy and protect your data.
• See our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and use.
• We will never sell your personal information.

Data Usage

• We use your data to provide and improve the App.
• Third-party services (including Firebase, Mux, Cloudflare, Google Gemini API, RevenueCat, Stripe, and Resend) may process your data to provide app and Showcase features, and Meta receives app install, sign-up, trial, and subscription events to measure our ads, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You can request data deletion by deleting your account.

Data Access by Platform Operators

You understand and agree that:

• Technical Access: We and our service providers (Firebase, Mux, Cloudflare) have technical access to all content you create, upload, stream, or share.
• Service Provision: This access is necessary to provide video hosting, messaging, storage, and other App features.
• Limited Use: We access your data only as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Third-Party Processing: Your data is processed by trusted third-party providers subject to their privacy policies.
• User Responsibility: You are responsible for the content you share and should not share sensitive information you do not want us to access.

By You

• You may delete your account at any time through the App.
• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
• Some data may remain in backups for up to 30 days.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Engage in illegal activities.
• Abuse or harass other users.
• Upload prohibited content.
• Attempt to compromise App security.
• Create multiple accounts after termination.

Effect of Termination

• You lose access to your account and content.
• Your videos may be deleted (unless shared with teams).
• Outstanding obligations survive termination.

"AS IS" Service

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• Videos may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance.
• Live game streams may be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable, and we may limit or disable live streaming at any time.

No Liability for Content

• We are not responsible for user-generated content.
• We do not endorse user opinions or content.
• We are not liable for disputes between users.

AI Features

• AI Coach feedback, trading card images, bio polishing, and rosters read from a photo are produced automatically through Google Gemini API and can contain mistakes.
• Review AI output before relying on it or publishing it. AI Coach feedback is general guidance, not professional coaching or medical advice.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability is limited to $100 or the amount you paid (if any).
• We are not liable for lost data, profits, or business opportunities.
• We are not liable for third-party actions or content.

Exceptions: Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability. In those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from:

• Claims arising from your use of the App.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of others' rights.
• Content you upload or share.
• Your negligence or misconduct.

External Services

The App uses third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) for database and authentication.
• Mux for video hosting and streaming.
• Google OAuth and Sign in with Apple for sign-in.
• Apple for in-app subscription payments, and Stripe for team and facility plans bought on our website.
• Cloudflare for Showcase page hosting, content delivery, edge geolocation, and live game stream storage and delivery (Cloudflare R2).
• Google Gemini API for trading card generation, bio polishing, AI Coach video analysis, and reading roster photos.
• RevenueCat for subscription management and purchase verification.
• Expo for push notifications, Sentry for crash reporting, and Resend for the App's emails.
• Meta for measuring our ads (see our Privacy Policy).
• LinkedIn for optional recruiter identity verification.

Third-Party Terms

• You must comply with third-party terms of service.
• We are not responsible for third-party service failures.
• Third-party privacy policies apply to their services.

External Links

• The App may contain links to external websites.
• We are not responsible for external content.
• Clicking external links is at your own risk.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Arbitration

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, not court litigation, except:

• Small claims court disputes.
• Intellectual property disputes.
• Requests for injunctive relief.

The arbitration will be conducted in the State of New York. Each party will bear its own arbitration costs, except as otherwise required by AAA rules or applicable law.

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.

Modifications

• We may update these Terms at any time.
• Material changes will be notified through the App.
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
• If you disagree with changes, stop using the App.

Notice

We will provide at least 30 days' notice for material changes.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.

Severability

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment

We may assign these Terms. You may not assign them without our consent.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures due to circumstances beyond our control.

How to Report

If you encounter violations of these Terms, report them:

What to Include

• Description of the violation.
• Username or team involved.
• Screenshots or evidence (if applicable).
• Your contact information.

We will investigate reports promptly and take appropriate action.
